CPI Talos bill acceptor not working

We have a CPI talos T602-U10MUS bill acceptor in our Portal Ti+. It has been accepting cash sporadically lately and quit altogether today. The led error lights are a slow beep inicadinting replacing the unit. anyone have any input on this? is it that simple its failed or is there some kind of repair that can be done on this?

The unit does cycle the belts when rebooted but will not attempt to take a bill in. Ive cleaned all the sensors i can find

They are repairable. Your going to have to remove the validator and send it in for repair. How old is the Talos validator?
 
It was put into service new in Nov of 22. Is there a repair place or is it CPI themselves.

DRB wanted me to test pins for voltage but didn’t tell me which ones just the plug where to do it

DRB doesn’t know what they are talking about. If the validator cycles and the lights flash it’s getting power. If it was installed in Nov of 22 it’s probably just out of warranty. You need to have your validator serviced. Do you have any Mars validators on hand like a AE2602?
