Does anyone want to share the wording on their CC signs? I am switching from count down to count up.
Heres what I have but I feel it need refinement:
Swipe card to wash
To end transaction turn switch to STOP
Minimum charge: $3.50
note: Debit card users will see a $15.00 credit check for up to 24 hours

The word STOP will look like a stop sign and have a corresponding stop sign shape on the rotary switch decal.

I have a very straightforward instruction list right on the meter label of:

1. Swipe Card!
2. Wash car!
3. Turn switch to "STOP" position
to end credit card purchase.

No other signage, but I should and probably will add a separate "fine print" sign explaining in more detail how things work like the pre-approval and a notice that debit card users might get an overdraft if their funds won't cover both the pre-approval and the actual charge. I wanted to keep the basic instructions as simple as possible.

I like the simple instructions. Exactly how will you word the fine print.
