Credit card Issues

Hello,

One of our credit card reader in our self serve bay is acting up recently and would like to see if anyone else have faced a similar issue.

When the card is swiped, 1) it reads the card 2) Verifies the Card 3) Turns on the Spray for 2 seconds 4) Then the spray turns off

Now, customer swipes the card again and get charged twice. The issue seems to be inconsistent.

Any advice on the issue is much appreciated.

When I had that issue on my WashGear system, the stop button was shorted out, canceling the sale just after it was authorized. Customer tried multiple times, and got the pre-authorization hold every time. He was not happy...

We are on Cryptopay and called them were told they don’t see any issues on their end.

Is the green button lit solid while in dormant mode?

It sounds exactly like what happens when someone is over limit on their credit card.
