Sorry if this has been covered before.

I just installed Crypto-Pay in 2 of my bays. My question is, for everybody that has had it installed for a while, how have you handled anyone who wants a receipt or a refund.

Any info on where you purchased any signs that put up.

I appreciate it. Thanks

Receipts can be done at www.mycryptopay.com but you have to pay an annual fee to use it.

How to refund a customer from World Pay merchant account?

  1. Find the customer's name under the list of Recent Purchases on your MyCryptoPay account.
  2. Click on that person's name and just to the left you will see a transaction ID.
  3. Call the World Pay help desk at 877-282-7362 (select option 5) and provide the support associate with your merchant information and the transaction ID to be refunded.

I don't get many requests for receipts or refunds, so what I do is just make a receipt and email it to them when asked, and for refunds I just give them car wash tokens or cash.

Almost 2 years with Cryptopay, I have yet to receive a receipt request. Dont see why they would need one as they have the charge shown on their statement. As for refunds, when I bought my wash from original owner of 40 years he said "NEVER" give cash refunds. We always ask what they were purchasing or trying to get or do. If its time we will give time, if its a vending item thats what they get. We will offer a wash token note, but never have given cash. He said once you start everyone will be losing something and looking for a cash refund.

I've had the occasional customer ask for a receipt, I ask for their address and offer to print and mail them one and every time they say they don't need it that bad.

I won't hand someone a cash refund either, for the exact reason pgrzes said. I've had it happen, word spreads fast that you're an easy mark. I will mail a cash refund along with some wash tokens, and I track the addresses I send them to. I've had a handful of people call or approach me with a clearly bogus refund claim, and I just tell them to pound sand.
