Cryptopay swipers on Vacs both totally dead, until I cycle power

Customer complained the vac swiper didn't work. I used my card and verified it did not work. Checked all wiring, which was OK. The swiper did have power to it. I shut off the electrical breaker, turned it on, and the vac swiper worked fine.

I checked the other vacuum .. "just in case." Yep, same thing. Swiper dead. Recycle power, and swiper is fine. Swipers in bays were running all day with no problems.

This is a weird one-- any ideas?

some times when there is a power failure, units have a daisy chain set up, we have to swipe a card several times and unit comes back to life, we use attend cards and some time just wont start up and swiping a card brings them back
