I saw Kleen Rite released a video on Cryptopays new tap credit card reader. My first thought is why didn't the make the swipe and tap into 1 unit? It appears you need the swipe head and the tap unit is an additional unit. Who wants junk mounted all over their meter boxes, vacs, and autotellers! Who wants to add more holes? Who wants to buy twice the stuff just to get tap? I have been waiting months to add cryptopay to an autoteller that I have with the anticipation of the new tap reader coming out. What a joke. I will pass.

Not to mention some operators had just enough room for the swiper now where could they put another 4" x 4" device?

Very good write up. Seems like another way to make more money. This should be an added fixture on the existing cryptopay swipers, not a whole new device to take up more space.

You guys have short memory. I remember when it was 10-15K to install a hardwired card system at a site. Although it's not the most elegant solution this system will be a easy add on to existing systems.

I remember someone installing an early system that was $24k. It worked kind of like a Coleman Swipe 'n Clean. This was in '99 or 2000.
