Cummins Jetscan 4196 Counter/Sorter Manual

This is probably a long shot, but does anyone have a manual for a Cummins 4196 two pocket currency counter/sorter? I looked everywhere on line and could only find brochures, no user manual.

cummins factory service can help, cummings is a great machine, but watch out for machines that are no longer supported by factory. We purchased a used machine found out is was no longer supported by the factory. (functions belts switches control board) learned a lesson and bought a new factory machine two pocket. was more expensive but the machine is supported and gets fixed fast and makes our life a lot easier. they also have wierd wording when using differnt functions so a manual is very important as we handel all $ bills and in any direction, side up or down. and all bill counters do need maintance so make shure there is service available for the machine

Great machine. I have the 4096, that I have factory serviced yearly at the local cummins office here in Cincinnati. Generally takes a day and works like new. I would assume cummins can help with the manual, if not you are welcome to a copy of what I have, the cover of the book I got with my used unit says "all models", I assume you have a newer version of the two pocket machine.

What does it cost for your "yearly" servicing? We have a Cummins Jet Sort for coins & having never had any servicing needed ... even after 10 years. We have a distributor locally & have been tempted many times to get a Cummins Jet Sort for bills similar to what you & others have.

factory service is about 650 a year (estimate) this includes all parts in service contract,we purchased a new machine and after one year using the machine we had a board failure. Since we did not have factory service contract repair cost was about $700 to fix board. Service was fast, came to car wash and unit was refreshed with board and complety serviced. Still do not have contract for service. Machine is bank quality minus fraud detection function as these item are expensive to maintain. We consider 2 stacker a very important tool in geeting the $ procesed and serviceability a key item in all our care wash equipment

I dropped it off at the local Cummins dealer today and they are going to assess whether I should have it fixed or not. Thanks for all the responses.
