CW Flags

Anybody have these flags at your CW? Just trying to think of ways to draw in customers and to make the wash more inviting...The site says they last a year or more....The price looks good, $49 for stake, pole, and flag....Replacement flags only $15...

I got some about 9 months ago i will need to replace them this summer but they look good for going though a winter. I would get them they really stand out. The only problem is with the poles where they go together they have a little crimp but after a while they slide into each other so i just put a little screw where the connect and no problems.

Yeah I got cited at two of my washes for having them out. Turns out "wind signs" are not allowed. I did take them up but I still put them out either late Friday afternoon or early Sat morning and them take them in Sun night or early Monday morning.....don't think the codes inspectors work on weekends in my neck of the woods....at least if they do I haven't heard from them

I've got them too. Sometimes they wrap around the pole. A good idea is to get a little piece of tubing, put the pole through the tubing and attach it to the cord at the end of the flag. That helps. A bit difficult to explain if you haven't had the problem yet but you'll see when you get them. :)

Gee...just after I typed it I found the "spinner" on the website you gave. That's more or less what I have meant with the tubing...

Yea, I saw that too. It would definetly be easy to make...

I'm glad I don't live in a place that has all those reg's to contend with....But thanks for the heads up anyway. Living in a small town does have some advantages...Its all relative....
