D&S 5000 troubleshooting

I'm at a loss on how to fix this issue. I was hoping someone here could help. I have soap, and what seems to be small amounts of oil coming into my rinse tank. I also have hot water coming up from the bottom of the rinse tank from where the 3535 pump sucks the water.

The two lines coming into the pump in the 3 & 4th pictures are how I think the hot water is coming into the tank as they are hot to the touch. I don't see any check valves between the pump and here so not sure what has changed to cause the issue.

On a side note, How is it to call D&S tech support? I can't imagine them wanting to help me with a 20-year-old machine.

Another question while I’m in a roll. Do these go bad?

yes chemical injectors go bad. theres a little spring and ball inside that can get gunked up etc and not let presoak thru.

Just had the identical issue. My soap valve was bad and forced presoak into my rinse tank causing foam. The valve body had warn thin and would not seal. Replaces the whole valve, 573p I believe. Problem fixed. It took me a while to figure that out.

Thats great! I'm glad you found the problem. I'm ordering new valves now to see if that fix will work for me. Thank you for posting. : )

This is the valve that I'm going to use to replace the two in picture# 4

On a side note, I'm looking at all the different kinds of valves and I came across these two. I was hoping someone could explain to me the price difference between the two and why the cheaper one appears to be better.

Its an air operated diverter, they are usually used to divert from rinse water to spot free.

Thank you for the response. I am having a problem with hot water and soap coming into the rinse tank. Do you think the air operated diverter could be the issue?IMG_09011.jpg
