D & S Super 5000 Breaker popping

The wash starts, the carriage moves forward and suddenly the machine stops. Gantry breaker pops on outside of control cabinet. We have searched and searched for a loose connection or other wiring problem. Just cannot find anything.

Can you guys help?

Try replacing the breaker, ours did that once on our 5000 and that fixed it, I assume the breaker was bad.

Yes, we did change the breaker. Didn't fix the problem. Any other ideas?

You need an amp meter to find out what is drawing the amps

Could be a flat spot in a motor, had this problem before on a automatic, everything would be fine then for no reason it would trip the breaker, changed breaker would work then trip, changed motor no more problems

coils on hydrolic unit

Check out the coils on the Hydrolic unit. If they are bad will cause this breaker to pop. If it is hot to the touch then probably bad.

Fixed the problem. After chasing our tails with no results, I called a control specialist. With 2 hours ($100) he had the problem fixed.

It was a stuck Dema that would not activate and tripped the breaker.
