Damage Alert Ford Transit Connect

Rear Wipers at rest are in rear corners in vertical position at rest. Apparently vehicle is made in Turkey.

Broke some wipers at different locations. Ordered replacement and Ford Dealer truck is a transit connect. Driver says that these things break all the time in the wash.

Note, replacement arm is about $15-$30 but dealer will charge $125 to replace. Mechanic needs a "Puller" (not a special tool) to take off old arm. Average mechanic will charge 425.00 labor.

I have had a few break off on my in-bays. I have not covered them, because it is a bad design. I tell them to call the Ford dealer and bitch about it. I have instructed my guys to turn them away when they are on duty.
