I bought one site with a first generation wizard. They have Danfoss drives. Apparently Danfoss has ceased production of the old beige units. My distributor has run out of sources to buy the old ones. He has been replacing them on other machines with the Yaskawa drives that are on the 2.0, but the tech says he feels the Danfoss are more reliable. I was just going to find out what others are doing in this circumstance.

Also, I do have two old drives that could be serviced. Danfoss tech support called them "throwaways". Has anyone had any luck getting these drives repaired?

About 6 mos. ago I had a danfoss go bad and could not find one ,called danfoss and was told they were no longer offering them and had 6 in stock at that time I brought 4 ( wish I brought all ). I tried to find someome to service them but had no success, if you find someone to service them please let me know for I have several that need repair if possible.
As far as Yaskawa goes have one in operation and has been running for about a year ,no problems.

I've called a couple of repair shops and they say the same thing. We don't repair drives that small, and we don't know if we can still get parts for it. A couple have said they will look at them.

I guess I could crack open the box and have a look. Maybe they have an internal fuse on the board.
