Does anybody here use Diamond Shine Chemicals in their IBA or S.S? if so:

* Are the wash results acceptable?
* Is the Cost per vehicle usage tolerable?
* Price for the product/container?
* Are you using the Bullseye system?

Used them about seven years ago - before they were doing all the 2X and bullseye concentrations and dispensing. I was getting the standard concentrates in the 5/30/55 drums they offered at the time.

Forgot some of the names but I would know if I saw it. Used their neutral cherry soap for lube in tunnel and foam brush. Used one of their presoaks in the tunnel and ss and used Bead Up as a clear coat sealer - excellent product. Beaded any car in any condition. MSO based but did not smear or build up at all. Also used some tire and wheel cleaners in tunnel and ss.

Solid line of products. Pricing seven years ago and in the traditional concentrations probably won’t help you much today, but I can speak to their quality.

I stopped using them at the time I was getting into tvp’s , super sealers and hot wax. I went to the more commonly known brands for name recognition when I started using them - Simoniz and Rain X. I’m sure Diamond Shine makes those products at a good quality also and would not hesitate to use them again.

It’d be pretty cool if diamond wash used diamond shine chems!

We use Diamond Shine in our Tunnel as well as all 5 touch-free sites, have no complaints with them. Price is reasonable, chemicals work great, cars come out beautiful.

The one thing I like the most is they are now owned by Sonny's Equipment which is what we use in our tunnel so we have kind of a one stop shop.

Cost per car has been great actually for instance we run single strength X55 for our drying agent we have it dialed in perfectly and we are only running about .10/car for that particular chemical.

We never really got into the bullseye system especially given that it's all 3x chemical products the 2x and single strength have worked great for us and I believe that Bullseye set up can only run 2.5 gallon containers at a time (mind you the ratio is way different) but still.

The self-serve bays are fantastic with the chemicals we run two soaps in our self serve, Braker with Citrus Presoak, have absolutely nothing but compliments and happy customers. They wash better than some tunnels around us.
