I have a Dilling Harris dual boom system, with a Fluidtek foaming brush boom. Does anyone have any information about this boom arrangement. the system was installed in 1997. If you have a pdf or sketch of this boom, it would be extremely helpful.
The high pressure is leaking through the foaming brush. Please help me, anyone

Sounds like the tube inside the boom spider is leaking. I don’t think it can be repaired. I stopped using this style years ago.

Tear them out and don't look back. I had the same booms when I bought my wash and had high hopes of rebuilding them until I found out they used car axle seals from the 90's. The newer ones don't hang as low either. They were prime in their day but better ones are now available.

I have those same booms since 1994, in 2015 mine was leaking like that in one of the bays and I replaced the seals and it is still working OK. They are 1.5 od, 1.00 id, 1/4 thick.
I got mine at bds-usa.net.
You can also buy the springs from Kleen-Rite
I priced the Ginsan booms in 2015 and they were around $1400.00 each, i'm sure they cost more than that now.

High pressure leak looks like trouble. Did you have a freeze up? I may have an extra boom spider that I could sell.

It has had a slight leak for a while, it got much worse after the freeze we had. I have an extra boom spider, I think what I need is a seal assembly. Do you have one of those. Or do you know where I can get a seal??

You need the cup seals mentioned above in two doses post. I think I found some on zoro one time.

Hi Pirate Laser - Were you able to purchase & replace the seals on the spider? If so, where did you find them? I'm in the same boat ... 20 year old FluidTek Booms - some chemical starting to leak around the seals

I can say after replacement cup seals mine worked, (as good as they were going to anyway). I think the operator that bought the wash ended up just removing the low pressure boom and buying another boom to wall mount.
