Is there any place to buy the LED dot matrix displays besides direct from Dixmor? I tried to find them at the electronics supply places with no luck. We have a display that's five years old and has several dots burned out. I'm thinking of replacing all 8 of them in there and maybe get a set of spares for the other LED9 that we have.

I've tried too. I can't find them. I assume Dixmor can get them for you, hopefully at a reasonable price. IDX sells the ones for the BTT for $40 each, the exact same ones I can get for $5 each if I order a dozen. Here's the info off one of the modules:

Yep. That's the number that's on ours. Dixmor's price is not bad at under $7 each plus shipping.

I would ask someone at dixmor if you should replace all at the same time. I think it was mentioned here that it shortens the life of the other LEDs if you don't replace them all.

This is definitely true with the IDX BTT timers. The new ones will burn out in a couple months. I've never replaced any in a LED 9 timer though.

You need to replace them all at the same time. Most of the time if you don't replace them all the new ones will be brighter than the old ones.

I was wondering if the old ones would be brighter but was planning on replacing all 8 anyway.
