Disgusting fees for vending machine

got my year end statement for vending machine only to find out that over half the revenue on cc was paid out in fees!

it makes me want to seriously contemplate yanking the card reader and cancelling the eport.

anyone have any thoughts on this???

That doesn't sound worthwhile to me. If there's an ATM close by, I would eliminate cc acceptance for vending.

I use the Nayax cc reader on my Shurvend and the fees are 5.95%, and they give you the chance to charge a fee, so I charge 6% cc fee for all cc purchases. Makes the cc same as cash. You should look into switching.

Does the Nayax E-Port reader have an EMV compliant version available to make it ID theft liability proof? I know that one of the upgrade options for our card reader EMV compliant replacement for the ATM that we own ourselves the company was a $500 cost to us.

I'm not sure, but check out their website http://nayax.com/en/ or call them and I'm sure they can fill you in. I have 3 of the readers and everyone there that I have spoken to has been really friendly.
