Dixmor timer issue

A little help here...

After a heavy rain last night I went into one of my bays to find the screen reading COIN and it stays that way. It will not register a coin drop or a bill.
If I unplug it /plug it back in it will flash the dollar amount and then immediately goes to COIN on the readout.

You got a problem with the coin acceptor or bill validator. Try disconnecting the coin acceptor, then the bill validator and see if the problem goes away. If it goes away replace the coin acceptor or the bill validator. Your getting a constant pulse from the coin acceptor or validator.

You where dead on.... Unplugged the coin acceptor and Dixmor showed $$$
Replaced the acceptor and the bay is back in business
