Dixmore Timer setting.

Just curious, those of you that use Dixmore timers, do you have yours set to Instant Start as soon as the minimum $ to start is deposited or is it set to Delayed start. I’ve always had mine set to Instant and never had one complaint in 19 years until this weekend when a disgruntled customer left me a 1 star review because the timer started the countdown before he finished depositing his quarters over the minimum of $3.

We set ours to delay start. It is only 2 seconds.

I use delay start for that very reason.

Delayed start for me. I don't see any advantage to instant start. Let them load up that machine with quarters without penalty if they wish.

I use Delay Start too.

We use the Delay Start feature and we also use the Restart feature. It upsets the customer when they are almost done and they run out of time and they have to drop in another $3 or $4 dollars to finish rinsing.
