I opted to strap them all together to bundle them around my hot water circulating line in the troughs. Realizing it will be a pain when I have to replace one of the lines or splice one because it broke, however, since I did it 5yrs ago I haven't had to break them apart for repairs. The time and headache I've saved from frozen lines has been welcome.
If you don't need to bundle them to a hot water line, and you're looking for keeping things "neat", then you could use those poly hose holders every few feet to keep things in order. Other than the reason I stated above, I do not see a reason to strap them.
