Do you track the money for each service? Bay 1,2 vac 1,2 etc...

I'm wondering why he doesn't have more soft drink machines...seriously, is that correct?

I was wondering if anyone would catch that! LOL....Yea, the numbers are right! Sometimes I wonder if I bought a CW just so I could set up 2 pop machines! They sure help fill the voids during rainy days!

I'd get out of the carwash business and buy more pop machines with that kind of numbers.

I'll share my end of year 2017 percentages:

bays 79.72%
vacuums 14.14%
vending 4.41%
fragrance .26%
shampoo .29%
air .33%
pop .87%

And for those that say that the start up prices in Texas are too low to make any money, my expenses ran 37.2%. Of that 37.2%, 9.62% was property taxes. In other words, 62.8% profit before income tax and depreciation.

You guys must have cheap labor down there...:p

It is fairly easy to track revenue by bay and vac without much effort - I purchased a remote control and programmed the Dixmor with a passcode so the display shows coins in the box as I collect the money. I clear the totals after each collection. Basically confirms what I see with respect to the favorite bays and vacs.

Creative juices flowing again! I added another calculation to my spreadsheet that calculates bay and vac totals and subtracts utilities and NG....I think this is one of the more valuable calculations to monitor income minus expenses in order to control profits....
