I know there are several dog washers on the forum. I have to stock up during the month of May for our upcoming opening by our 4th of July target date. We save on freight by ordering it in May, The question is in what approximate proportion should I order the 5 gallon pails of chemical from your experience? In other words would the disinfectant be used up faster than the oatmeal shampoo expecially since there will be some free usage of the disinfectant? What tends to be used up the quickest? Does some of the shampoos or chemical tend to not keep as good as others?

Thanks.

MJ,

Here's the order of my most used Pet chemical

1-Oatmeal Shampoo
2-De-Skunk (Pet deoderizer)
3-Flea & Tick Shampoo
4-Conditioner

As you can see, the shampoos get used the most with the Oatmeal as the gentlest, so the most used.

You might notice that I do not have a disinffectant. I have removed this option and my attendant disinfects the room with a chemical spray can daily. Giving away free disinfectant will be a waste and very expensive...I would not do that.

Do you have a pet vac? That's easy money for a shop vac, hose & nozzle and 24v relay.

Lastly, flea and tick shampoo is very expensive and I'm also thinking of removing this option for the tearless shampoo. Not sure how effective it is anyway.

Hope this helps
