Lol, he now knows more than a lot of chemical reps I've met!

I thought he did a good job until he fell flat on the subject of polish. But analyzing the product at one car wash and drawing an industry conclusion is reckless.

Couldn’t bring myself to watch it after the introduction, so I’m not sure if he had anything of value to say or not. The set up is important - it can keep or loose people!

He has some valid information, but he finishes it up with an ignorant opinion.

I wonder if the wash operator is ignorant too or if his chemical supplier is just putting whatever they have in stock in place. The Youtuber says the wash is using three different product for "triple foam," but we don't know if each is for a different pass or if all three go on at once.

So there was obviously lots of research done into the chemistry of carwashing, coupled with a clickbait title and a stoopid conclusion (I don't use carwashes, just give it a hose off). There was certainly nothing that showed carwashes to be a widespread scam. Also, I typically don't take my advice from 21 year olds. I prefer a little life experience.

How about someone with some personal experience over decades? Many of us have been in the car wash business for a very long time. I've been detailing cars since the 80s and I love the products in the application process of Automated carwash machinery.

He went from being very technical to making some silly claims about polish in a car wash (is he really expecting a liquid applied polish in car wash, to smooth out the paint?). Tri-Foam that is three different chemical makeups? 20 years in the industry and I've never seen this. As for his "test" at the end with the microscope, this is the most ridiculous part of all. Any detailer worth his salt knows that paint is porous and if you really want a "clean car", the surface needs more of a deep cleaning than a car wash can render. I can take a brand new car with shiny paint, just delivered to a dealership, and do the same test he did on that car and have it look "dirty" under a microscope. I ran detail shops for years at car dealers, almost every new car we cleaned up for delivery was clay barred to remove all dirt (this was after hand washing) so that we could put a coat of wax on a clean surface (you wouldn't believe the amount of dirt and rail dust that will come off new cars). His conclusions are nothing, but a hack job.

i know his conclusions are a joke but i was thinking about it from the point of view that they have 5.28 million subs so we have to take it somewhat serious cause the younger generation gets their info from the internet and listen to people on youtube that have that kind of following.

I wouldn't worry too much, they're attention span is about the length of a Tik Tok video, which is roughly 1 minute. They're not sitting through that whole video, especially after the starts getting all technical, they'll be long gone before he gets to his silly conclusion.

They might just read the title for the conclusion.
