OK found out why the D&S 5000 was not rinsing all the presoak off. the "oscillating jets" were no operating in high pressure. worked fine for presoak and spot free. I was not washing the top of the car at all. Being clever, I decided to swap the hoses with the side spinners to see if it was the solenoid or something plugged up in a line. It was a solenoid. replaced the solenoid and loosened the hose for the gantry oscillating nozzels to put it on the new solenoid. dropped it and the side spinner hose on the ground. Long story short, I hooked them up. I am getting oscillating nozzels working while the 'power blast" nozzels come on (while gantry is facing front or back bumper on the car) with nothing coming out of side spinners. then when gantry is back on top of the rail the side spinners and oscillating nozzels both run down the length of the car.
Long way to ask this question. Are the power blast nozzles supposed to be working along with the side spinners at the front and back or is it correct the way I have it now?

this thing is now actually doing a pretty good job cleaning a car. even the back window of my sort of short hatchback, which was never getting clean.
