Dultmeier W/Etowah CC Combo??

I need some new coinboxes, and I like the Dultmeier. The locking system I like better than Etowah. I also like the look better---Has any bought the dultmeier box with the Etowah timer and Credit Card. I seen the combo at the Ica , Do you guys have any experience with the dultmeier boxes-- Good or bad??

I took the etowah valley boxes and added a extra lock bar across front of the locks that etowah valley provides. I had a local metal shop cut and reinforce the slots for the lock bar. The lock bar has to be removed first before any access to the other door locks. I bet Jim could do this for you while he is building them.

Do you really need the new boxes? I just had Jim send me replacement doors for my existing meter boxes. Much cheaper and easier to install than ripping out the entire box and starting over.

I have A-Oks 25 yr old boxes- so small they can't be retrofitted, and not really even enough room for CC reader. I figured the new boxes would take bills and CC, so might take in a few more $$. They had their boxes at Ica and I liked the way they were designed. I put the links to the two. I am not questioning the security of either, The people at Dult claim almost impossible to get in. I just like the zen of how it is laid out. But have never bought any Dult. equip before
and see what others like or dislike. I am just having new $1 tokens made so my changers will become token machines. The prices are pretty much the same

I have bought a lot of equipment from Dultmeier going back about 20 years. Good equipment good people. I have also bought quite a bit of equipment from Evalley, once again good equipment and Jim is a good guy. The boxes I have from EValley are the heaviest I have ever used. Nothing takes the place of thicker stainless when they start beating, banging, and prying on them. I have retrofitted 3 washes with Jim's boxes over the past 4 years and if I was ordering new coin boxes tomorrow they would be EV.

They look similar to my Coleman Island Vault locks BUT that is the second lock they have to attack after getting thru a thick SS cover over a hocky puck lock.

They are nothing like pop machines. Those are pot metal, use low-security keys and sometimes just use a cam to lock. The car wash ones are forged stainless steel with high-security Medeco locks and a threaded rod into a bolt to hold the door shut. It's not something you can just pry open, and using a dent puller won't do anything but destroy the lock with it still secured.

The reason the pop machines use that cheap lock is that the machine's door is more valuable than the money. They don't want the machine damaged.
