We have been told by vendor owners with e-Port readers installed that some credit card customers are complaining about the "hold" that is put on their account to make purchases in the vendor takes to long to be cleared. We are informed that USA Technolgies, the e-Port owner, has no control over how long the "hold" is maintained on the account. The "hold is controlled by the bank issuing the credit card to the customer and can be anywhere from 24-72 hours before it is dropped.
We have a "Notice" that can be affixed to the vendor informing the customer how this "hold" is handled. If any of our customers with e-Ports would like a copy of this "Notice" emailed to them, we will be happy to do so.
