Easy hang Vac nozzles

After 20+ years of coiling vac hoses I hope I have come up with a better way. I liked the vac booms that Kleenrite sells but not for $1500 + each. I bought some of their foam brush booms for $105 and had custom made hangers built. I attached them to my existing 4 inch 10 foot light pole using some 3/8 inch bolts. The boom and hose will swivel out over a car for easy access to both sides. I used 2 inch hose up to the end of the boom and reduced it to 1 1/2 inch for the drop portion. The hose is kept off the ground and only requires the customer to hang the hose on the provided hook. It is a simple one step procedure for them. I hope this makes it easier for my customers. Time will tell. I am only in this about $175 per vacuum.

I'll bet dollars to donuts the above line highlights the flaw in the system...... It still requires the customer to do something.

Earl is right. So far most customers drape the hose over the old holder where they had to coil the hose. They took the vac end off the hanger but have not yet figured it out to put it back the way they got it. It will take some time for the customers to figure it out.

We've got a similar system from Mosmatic. You want to be careful: The vacuum hose can scratch the paint of the car when it is dragged over the roof! It is actually residue of the hose on top of the paint and you can easily buff it out but for some upmarket clients it is very annoying. The solution what we've found is to put "hose socks" over them. We get them made locally out of fleece. They can get wet and will dry quickly. No complaints since 7 years.

Brought this back up for the guy looking for easy hose hanger. After 2 years I can say that they very rarely get left on the ground now and people really like them. I have seen vac revenue go up since doing this.

The white hose sleeve is just PVC pipe.
