Hey Guys,

I've had an issue with my p/s entry wrap around. It works fine up until it needs to push back to the center to clean the back of cars. I've replaced the shock and air cylinder (regular maintenance), regularly lube bearings, adjusted air pressure, and adjusted the push block but it still doesn't work. The other 3 wrap arounds work just fine, but it's getting to the point where my customers are noticing the defect, even if we brush the back ends. Plus we avg around 350-450 cars daily, and that's A LOT of brushing to do!

Anyone have any ideas of potential issues?

Need more 411. What brand? Do you have air retracts? Does the air pressure affect the speed of the back end follow?
As wrap material wears stuff happens. Weight of the Brush changes. Material becomes more limp. Both can affect the follow.

I would check any air cylinder for hangups irrespective of pressure.

You copuld have a bad bearing. If it's bad, lubing won't help.

I would also compare the other side PS wrap by pushing it from center by hand (Not rotating) and time how long it takes to swing to center, and compare to this one. If there is a big difference it may point you in the right dorection.
