What is the recent consensus across the board on escalation costs? Compared to September/October 2021, I have been quoted up to 15% in equipment and 45% in material (wire, conduit, etc.). I'm sure the labor portion has escalated as well.

Has anyone experience significant supply/chemical escalations?

I have seen similar numbers. Things are bonkers right now. I can't remember what metal roofing percentage increases my contractor told me but I remember that I almost passed out when I saw it translate to the dollar amount.

I went to the industrial Hose store yesterday to get some small length of hoses and some hose clamps. They did not have any hose clamps in stock. Short supply means increasing prices.

Gas here in PA was 3.79 on Monday, 4.19 today.
Same here in the Pacific Northwest, this morning regular was around $4.25, diesel was $4.47. In the last week I've seen a big drop in car wash business. Gasoline goes up, car wash business goes down, people have less disposable income. I saw on the news tonight that gas prices are predicted to continue to go up past Memorial Day.
