No. Closed systems that direct vent fresh air from outside. Hot Dawg we are getting is the same.

I installed the Mr Heater Maxx to replace the old Reznor heater that had a bad heat exchanger.

For backup, I installed a 2 burner ceramic heater...I turn 1 burner on below 45° and turn both burners on below 15°. Simply for backup if the electric goes out. But it's 100° efficient! So it takes the load off the Maxx Heater whenever it's lit.

Oh, I totally get the frustration when a heater decides to call it quits, especially in the equipment room where maintaining the right temperature is so important. Regarding Moline Hot Dawg Heaters, they do have a good reputation for their durability and performance, but it's always wise to check for reviews and recommendations from others who've used them in similar setups.
Speaking of heating upgrades, I've been considering one myself lately. Those Designer Radiators seem like a modern and efficient choice. They not only provide warmth but also add a touch of style to the space.

Stuck a patio heater in one of my ER. Place stays around 50 degrees on a 20 degree night. My other site has a wall heater and doesn’t do a good of job as the other.

I found this in a dumpster. I set it up next to my er desk and it keeps me warm. I have another in my tool room~ also a dumpster find. Between these and my Raypaks, the er stays warm. I have a small electric ceiling mount heater made by comfort zone but only turn it on when outside temps go below 20f.

I have a 5000 watt electric heater that hangs from the ceiling, I keep it at 50 degrees and I have a backup wall mount gas heater in case the power goes out. Years ago I insulated the ceiling of my car wash so it stays toasty warm with little heat. It’s been in the mid 20’s at night and my equipment room is nice and warm in the morning. I've been in a lot of equipment rooms that don't have kind of heat.
