Hamilton er-60 is going short on pay-out usually 2-3 quarters on a $20 and then goes long on the next pay-out.I switched the hopper with my other er-60 and everything worked as it should. So far I've checked for a hang-up in the delivery slot, blew out the dust, checked for debris under the flipper on the wheel.Any suggestions ?

The first thing I’d do is replace the Hopper Payout switch. Hamilton has come out with a different style payout switch Part #100-0151, they are easier to install, there is no adjustment once it is installed.

Also check the coin counter. If you’re getting 80 coins on the coin counter and your only getting 78 or so in your hand the coins could be falling off the wheel before they get to the coin chute. There are couple of things that will cause this, bad switch, dirt buildup on the mounting plate at around 11 o’clock or a badly worn pin wheel.

Also check the brake on the back of the motor, it should be very loose and free.
