I use the Erie 212300. (KR FO202ah) Most of those returned brushes would never see the light of day at my wash. I change the brush about every 3-4 months. I have a high volume wash, and keeping a ratty looking brush on the handle is out of the question. Brush quality/appearance is second only to water quality.

Customers should expect and receive the best in your wash bays. A worn down or half moon brush does not qualify. Yes, brushes have gone way up, but so has everything else. That is not an excuse to skimp.

Well it was not fun us having to purchase every universal foam brush head +10 hog daddy in stock In order to pull Erie brushes off line and and returned about 12 in the box we had at our warehouse over Multiple trips to Kleenrite. We go through way too many brushes for these things to be four and five years old unless you guys are sending old product out to Kleenrite and Kleenrite is turning around sending it to us. I sat with Dave in Grand Prairie, Texas, reviewing each, and every one of them, and he saw the same defects that I sent back. I’m sure he would deny the brushes I returned didn’t look like the pictures you sent Keith Maybe you swapped our return brushes that you have stored around your shop. We have had so many back orders over the last 4 years buying brushes from Kleenrite since you purchased this business. It is impossible for the way we stock our shelves for our inventory to be old. you called me to defend your flawless product and didn’t seem too really listen to my concern. Why is Keith splitting the cost with your product. He didn’t manufacture this brush. I will be sending him a email about him picking up any cost associated your company If your product is not defective but I’m the problem why are you meeting with your plastic supplier and epoxy supplier? Rest assured I will never buy another product from your company again. Seems like a lot of other people are having the same issues or different issues with your product and they can make their own determination to either buy a product from you or not.

No we average about 3 months for our brushes My manager notified me hair was falling out of heads and I just instructed him to replace with new one. I wish any brand would last a year

My Erie Hog hair last about 6 Months . Years ago at request of Dan Pecora. tested against univerasl in half the bays.. Erie was better.

I contacted Erie yesterday about the one brush I've had trouble with. Jason called me within a few hours to resolve the issue. He was honest and more than willing to stand behind his product. I get three to four months out of the regular brushes, I have one round brush that has been in the bay for well over a year and still looks like the day I installed it. I put another round brush in another bay about four months ago and it still looks new as well.

We have a total of 5 Erie brushes still in service. This is one we pulled off today so we have a total of four left. These are less than two months old. Please see the video how many plugs of hair are missing how much of the epoxy has come detached from the plastic body, this is not our imagination. It’s fact.

For whatever it’s worth, I was able to find the photos of my brushes from several years ago when I had the same problem. These photos clearly show plenty of brush length left, so it was obviously a manufacturing problem which sounds like is still an issue.

We have been using Erie brushes for probably 20 years and have never seen an issue with brushes being defective, typically brushes being pulled from the head is if someone does something stupid (abuse) where the brushes catches on something and they jerk them. I typically replace all brushes after a "U" shape begins to form, i want my customers to be using something that looks new and clean. Some bays may be every 3 months other bays may last a year or more. Most of the pictures of what i have seen in this post would have been changed well before hand at my washes solely based on wear.

We have been using the Hog hair Foam master foam brush heads for over 30 years. We've tried the Universal hog hair foam brush heads and they didn't last as long as the Erie foam brush head. The only time we've had a foam brush look like what has been pictured is when the brush was used the clean greasy engine parts when spray engine solvent in the can is used. The spray engine solvent will ruin a brush in no time.

Any chance it is some ingredient in your chemical brand? I have never had any Erie brushes do that. I just got 13 in, and looked all of them. They all appear well made, with no epoxy showing.

With few people having issues can't help but wonder if here is another element plaguing carwash king. One issue is the date stamp. Was always concerned that I might get some old stock (No limited to FB) from a place like KR because it sat in their warehouse for however long. Adhesives and other stuff doesn't last forever. Then of course there is possible issue with Cleaning agents whether used by the operator or some gunk removal spray the customer uses and then applies the brush. That chemical could attack the adhesives . And then we have possible abuse issue like the customers that use them dry to sweep out their pickup beds,
