extra time issue

I have a bay where is works fine to start , drop the quarters and it gives credit , and you can add quarters as you go and get more time but once you hit 60 seconds left ,

if you add a quarter it will take it and not give you any more time , until you get to less then 30 seconds and add you will get more time. I have two of the same timers and the other one does exact same thing , what can i try ?

im not sure , its about 10 by 3 , clear front half , white plastic back half , i think it has to do with my sensortron coin ecc.. , cause
this winter the timer was messing all up and i switched coin ecc. and it worked besides this problem i noticed the hard way after a
customer showed me, I have to see if i have a slug buster and then i dont know where to put the violet wire or use it at all?

I just installed a slugbuster. The violet wire was unused on our setup. We have Dixmor 7 timers. If you have questions call Parker engineering (they make the Slugbuster) They are in Michigan and are VERY helpful.

its about 8 or more years old , iv had this car wash 6 years and it was there , i have a spare too ,
This bay had a slug buster and after someone broke into it last summer , i put a sensortron and it hasnt been the same since ,,, and today i tried putting
the red wire with the green stripe with the black wire like the vacuums and it worked like it should now . but question ??

Has anyone thought of making You tube videos regularly on car wash jobs , especially wiring in timers in the bays ,

changing from in the mechanical rooms ,, stuff like that ? I almost figured it out on my own but there isnt too much info

i can find about it... someone will have a lot of car wash views if they can make some videos. Thanks for helping.

It would be difficult to make videos because every car wash is different. It would be easier if someone having a problem would identify the timer they're working with because a lot of us regulars know off the top of our heads how to wire a Sensortron or a Slugbuster.

Car wash wiring is the hardest thing to understand. I've been doing this for 39 years now, including as a service tech for customers. Most people don't care about how it works, they just want to know what color wire joins to what other color wire, so since the principles don't apply to that, it usually comes down to identifying the timer and acceptor.

That timer appears to be a Dixmor LED9 SFPC. It's probably hooked up as a slave since you have operating timers in your control box inside. Identifying the timer still wouldn't have helped you much because yours has a custom cable hooked up to it. So yeah, keep telling me the principles are the same, and if I make a video to help you I'll expect payment for you to view it.
