Up here in North Dakota .... a mild enough winter so the overhead doors on both ends can be used as infrequently as possible. That along with both my regular & new customers wisely dressing for the weather so that they are not shivering! Let me & my employees get our numerous projects behind us as soon as possible ... without sacrificing quality! Not just one present .... no not little old me ... I just want a day off. Life has thrown me a couple of curveballs this fall, resulting in me having to get my butt in gear and carry a lot more weight than I have been. Today will be my 59th day in a row, without a day off...I'm tired.

I just want a day off. Life has thrown me a couple of curveballs this fall, resulting in me having to get my butt in gear and carry a lot more weight than I have been. Today will be my 59th day in a row, without a day off...I'm tired.

I was going to post something like that - I had a one week vacation in 1990, and that was my last one. I've also had to go from being semi-retired at 50 working a couple hours a day back to 60 hours a week at 53.

some time off as well. 3 carwashes, Ice business w/ 3 restaurants, full time teaching & coaching (for @ least 6 more years). If my new SoftGloss will kick some A$$, I will retire early.

During basketball season I am typically up @ 4:50 am go to bed early on Wed & Sun nights (10 pm). The other 5 nights typically to bed around 11pm---1am (if away games). So 80 & 90 to 100 hour work weeks October through March.

Wearing me out at age 50!!!

You guys aren’t living right. That’s why we have “employees” so we can take a minimum of 2 vacations a year. I refuse to be a slave to the car wash, life is to short.
