On the topic, I was going to buy a Santoprene G57 and plumb it up to transfer products from drums to pails or kegs. I figured I would always rinse it out with water after I was done using it, so therefore, it would last even if I was transferring the harshest stuff I got. Anybody have a better idea for a transfer pump or what are you using for the job?? Thanks
I remember back in the days when were transferring from 30 gallon drums to 5 gallon pails. For over 15 years we happily & successfully just had a nifty setup where we introduced less than 5 psi into the drum via 1 (teed) or both of their 2 top ports. We actually found a low eough psi relief valve along with a reliable very low pressure regulator. I mention that before someone :) blows a fuse in their brain about the safety factor of such a setup. The transfer seem to happen at just the right preset speed-rate!

Use Viton for tire cleaner and tire shine. Otherwise Santo is good for everything else and will last years.
