FM Transmitter

I will be hooking my ipod up to it to play music in my automatic bay, any suggestions? FYI, the ipod will most likely be in a nema 3 or 4 enclosure.

It was a fun easy project and no need to put your ipod in a wet environment. I used it for a while to record loops about the wash but nobody seemed to bother tuning in even though I had signs up all over the place. However, I ran speaker wire and speakers out to all my self serve bays and vacs and it has made the ambiance of the wash completely different.

Yes, I think there is a stereo kit and a mono kit. You plug your audio device in and it transmits over a frequency (that you choose) that is not in use in your area. Different models also have different ranges.

Review the specs on line for the different models. Keep in mind you need to solder this thing together. Like I said it is easy. This the one I ordered:

Make sure you get the power supply cord as an accessory.

tons on ebay. Some have alot more than 100mw and you might see some complaints about the long range. Most on ebay are $40-$80.
