There's actually nothing wrong with what you have. New AirLogic won't work any better. If you do replace it, get something with covered Hydrominder tanks.

I also make my own foam generators, yes they will clog eventually, when you can make them for about $4 each they're cheap enough that you can just replace them and throw away the old ones every ten years. I drill and tap three holes for air and liquid in and foam out, and there's just some nylon scrubbers from the dollar store crammed in it.
