Machine will sit on front of car for a minute or so, seems like an eternity to the customer, in position 0, top wheel down on nose of car, both sets of wheels on, the stop/backup light alternating quickly, then after a while it will eventually take off. It's like it gets confused for a while then goes. If the customer does back up a bit then pulls back into position that will make it take off and continue washing as well.

Anyone seen this?

Sounds like a bad floor pad to me or the relay/chiclet for 'stop' or 'backup' is sticking.

don't want to jynx it, but I believe we got it, so far so good. It seems it was a faulty reed switch on the PS entrance wheel cylinder. It was confusing the machine as to where the arm was.
