Do you have a damage disclaimer sign at the entrance to your friction iba? If so, what does it say?

In front of the bay we have the standard disclaimer sign from TSS referencing Antenna's, bug guards, light covers, prior damage, luggage racks, loose molding, non stock items. On the front of the pay station, 6 inches from where they insert money or credit cards we have a sign that says "ATTENTION, This is a touch wash environment. We are not liable for vehicle damage claims of any sort."

Obviously if our equipment messes up, then it's our fault. But this has pretty much taken care of any and all frivolous claims from people looking to get their car repainted by going through our Tandem wash and then claiming scratch damages.

We have almost exactly the same signage disclaimer set up that Scott describes. Ours were originally furnished by our distributor. In addition I can tell you from experience that cameras seal the deal on false claims. We had a woman make a claim that our Soft Gloss had come down and damaged the hood of her car. The cameras verified that nothing at our wash had done that damage. Her Husband came in fuming mad and after look at the video he cooled down quickly. Out of the blue one of the kids with him said, "Dad Mom did that this morning when she let the garage door down on the hood of our car" Hurray for signage and cameras!
