Wth do u guys do about trailer hitches? Ive had an ongoing issue w/ trailer hitches + brushguards / winches.
They shut down my SoftGloss, & we can always get it back going, excdpt this time. We had to call out Ryko, & turns out it was just hp wheel cleaner sensor was off. Got it back on & $320 later voi'la! Needless to say, I was pussed, mainly cause 2 days of downtime , but the tech should've caught that over the ph.

What do u guys do about trailer hitches & winches/ brushguards?

I thought you had attendants at your site? There is nothing you can do other than having a staffer visually inspect every vehicle but then what do you do after hours? That is one of the few good reasons I decided to go to dual touchless .

Knock on wood... But the last year with my new i5 I have had no issues washing all of the above mounted on Jeeps to duallys.. Site is unattended.

I’ve seen i5’s handle this much better than Rykos because of the flexible rear brush shafts. Smart feature the Sonny’s put on this machine and Oasis was smart to keep.

I do, but they get so dsng busy @ times, they foeget to check the other IBA. They don't prep on the SoftGloss, just the Razor.

Man, those i5's seem to be legit, & dang near bullet proof. I wished they could get a better network of distributors. GREAT family owned, Kansas USA, Company.

My Istobal resets itself if it has a problem-usually. If it doesn't it sends me a text and I can rset most things on my phone. Doesn't ryko have an upgrade kit to allow that?

The Ryko Softgloss circuit protectors have to be manually reset in the event of a shutdown when it grabs onto an object it doesn't like, recently we have been getting the same issue with our SG.

Have the same issue coach. I have signs but people don't care, too lazy, etc. On my front brushes I have broken 3 gearboxes bc the brushes get wrapped up on brushes guards. On the back the hitches tear up the bottom of the brushes they are all but gone while the rest of the brushes are okay with some life left.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer either but feel your pain

We had similar issues with overloads tripping on our freestylers. Manually needed to be reset. I replaced them all with self healing overloads. Now overload trips, machine faults out, then in 30 seconds or so overload resets itself.

Then once machine sends me a fault email I login and reset machine remotely and back in operation.

Same with our Profile. In the 3 years we've had it, we've not had any problems with trailer hitches or brush guards; and our site is also unattended. If the Profile does hit something it doesn't like on a vehicle, it will abort the wash and tell the customer to exit. It might occaisonally need a reset after that, but not always.

Are the brushes electric motor driven? If so there should be a way of adjusting the load levels like on an istobal. If they are hydraulic driven like on an autec then it shouldn’t be faulting out at all.

Hi! I am torn between choosing a ryko and a washworld profile... when you say it occassionally needs to be reset for the profile do you mean manually or it can be done over the phone/app? Also have you had any issues with the profile with brush guards, tow hitches, or roof racks? Any insight in choosing a profile vs a ryko maxx 5 brush?
