I came in on Saturday and heard this weird screeching noise. I finally figured out that it was my #3 bay meter so I unhooked 1 of the wires from the speaker to stop it. To be honest I don't remember anyone using it that day because it was raining (it's rained over a FOOT in April so far!) but we washed a few cars yesterday so I'm pretty sure it was used yesterday. Today a customer pulled in, put in money and when he switched to tri-foam it stuck there until the timer timed out. When I got here I put money in and it is still stuck on tri-foam. It also still screeches if you touch that speaker wire back to the terminal. There has been a serious thunderstorm or 2 almost every day for a while. Could it have been fried? Is there anything I should try? It is a Jim Coleman bay meter.
Thanks

It sounds like it is the board. I would switch it to another bay and if the problem follows then you know it is the board. You can send it to B&C Electronics to be repaired.
