Dealing for a while now. I have a bay the will lose high pressure soap when in gets hot outside. When it’s a cool day no problems. This is driving me crazy. Any suggestions?

Do you mean the entire hp cycle function will not function - in other words nothing comes out of the wand as if it were off? Or are you getting just clear rinse water and the soap is not injected?

It stops working only when it gets hot outside temps.
So I am guessing hot outside translates to hotter than usual in your equipment room too, which is probably where the problem is originating. So every bay does this?

Everything works normal when it's cool outside. You have low pressure water coming out of the gun, correct?
It sounds to me like when it get hot one of the connections opens up to prevent the soap funtion from working. Have you checked and tightened the electrical connections, I'd start there. Does all the other functions work, wax and rinse?

Have you checked the pump when this happens? Does the pump still run but there's no pressure?

The pump won’t run when issue happens. Replaced rotary switch, and checked in the attic for any issues, nothing out of the ordinaries. Puzzling.

Do you have any relays between the rotary switch and the motor contactor/starter? I have a relay on soap and wax going to the motor contactor/starter when one them fails the motor won't run. If you don't have any relays, get out the volt meter and start checking your wiring from the coin box back to the pump.

Randy's on to something.

Several of my clients have timed output from the bay timer powering the coil of a relay...whose contacts supply power to the motor starter coil.
This is because there is significant voltage drop from their coin box to their pumping station's electrical panel. (due to undersized coin box cable conductors or power hungry coin box devices???) These relay commons are wired directly to the transformer's 24vac hot...providing full voltage to the motor starter's coils when Soap, Rinse, Wax is selected.
