Hey guys.

I've been trying to figure out this problem for a while. My fragrances/vacuums are currently installed with SNC Timers, and when i have them set on FVac, it appears the "Switching" option is missing on quite a lot of them. Is there another setting on the timers that i'm missing to enable the option?

Thank you.

There is no real switching option on JCC fragrance combo vacs. Each function will require you to pay and either push the "1" for vac or "4" for fragrance. You cannot switch between them and it is my understanding they are programmed as separate functions. Each requiring you to pay and choose the function you want for that session.

IIRC, the older timers were made specific for either bays or vacuums, and later models could be used for either and have the option selectable.

Thank you for replying Buzzie8 and MEP001.

On closer inspection, all the timers are JCC 1034S SNC models. I even checked the firmware and they're also all v7.35, yet it still baffled me why set on FVac, some has the "switching" option and others not since they're all the same models and firmware.

I originally thought it might be the fragrance combo vacs issue so i tried switching the Timers around, which didn't help since the Timers remained the same.

I uploaded the picture of the Timer to imageshack hoping it helps.

Have you looked at programming instructions for this timer? I know my 1034R timers are switchable. One of the first settings you come to is "sw or nosw" in programming setup.

I have virtually no experience with SNC timers, though.

Thanks and yep, i tried looking up the SNC manual, it appears it should be there when programming but it's missing.

In Program mode, it goes as follows for me.

FVac
01 (Unit)
Aus
T01 (Tokens)
A 1.00 (Money)
B 3.00 (Time)
C 3:00 (Bonus)
NOSW/SW - Option missing on some timers
S 0:10 - Option missing on some timers
D 1.00 (Money)
E 0:45 (Time)
F 0:45 (Bonus)

Perhaps i'm missed setting something in Diagnostic mode, but the Manual has no pages about this mode besides the PBC option and i'm too scared to fiddle around as i might end up having no idea how to revert it back.

I am no expert on this but on my timers the sw/nsw only shows when the svac mode is selected, on other modes it does not show.
I think this has something to do with how the timers are programed when built.

Yeah, that's what i'm thinking. But since it sw shows on some timers with the same model and firmware, why didn't they just programed it enabled in the first place?

Since my timers are all the same models and firmware. I'm wondering if it's simply possible to copy the firmware from a timer that has switching to one that doesn't?

On all my timers (from 2004) they have no option in programming for switching off and on. But when I program the vacs for SVAC they will allow switching. When programmed for FVAC no switching. You should call B&C Electronics and ask them.
