Gold line Hamilton validator not pulling bills in. Changed validator and no change. Possible relay issue? I seem to think it has been discussed sometime back. Any help is appreciated!

You have a validator issue. Try cleaning the validator with alcohol and then calibrating the validator. There are 2 calibration procedures to correctly calibrate the XE validator. The calibration procedure is outlined on page 11 of the XE validator manual. If your not taking Token notes the best thing you could do is change over to a Mars validator

Assuming it's for sure a flashing decimal and not a flashing half-digit, the problem is definitely with both your validators. The Hamilton validators read the bills completely independent of any part of the cashier, and nothing will interfere with that as long as the validator indicates it's ready to take a bill. The test harness for a validator is nothing more than a power cord with some lights and a switch on it.

Thanks guys. Pretty good chance I need to send them in. Pulled another from an ACW and it works. Too much going on to think straight some days.

Your going to have to send them in. You've got a sensor problem with the front side scan board.
