Goldline Plus with Mars not giving bill credit.

I have a 1 1/2 year old Goldline Plus with Mars all of a sudden not giving credit all the time. Originally when I put this into service it would steal $10 bills every once in a while. They upgraded the software and fixed it. Now its happening again with all bills. I have made sure all plugs are in and wires look fine. What else should I check or start replacing?

Have you tried changing validators?

I haven't but I will tonight. I wasn't sure if it could be controller, validator, or programming. Thanks
