I would like to replace my goldline coin acceptors with sensortron coin acceptors.

Hamilton tech support was stumped.

For token coin acceptor I have the following configurations and out comes

goldine black 24v to sensorton black and red/green
Goldline white 24v common to sensortron yellow
Goldline blue to sensortron red/green

this results in goldline seeing a double pulse (verified by coin 2 led being lit 2x) and gives a unexpected credit error and takes cashier out of service

switching the sensorton red/green wire to goldline white, 24v common, yields goldline registering token as a quarter, second token registers at token value and does not disable cashier.

What am I missing?

There is a specific Slugbuster to use for this. The Sensortron coin pulse is too long.

Plain and simple, you CAN'T! use a coin acceptor from a self serve coin box in a Hamilton ACW. Why would you want to use a Sensortron anyway? The Parker P-37 is readily available.

Thanks. After some additional testing I have a sensortron working properly.
Using the 24v common from the goldline as the pulse signal allows the proper low voltage signal needed by the goldline controller.

I have used an IDX MA-800 in one and it has worked perfectly.
