Google reviews

It happens. They want to go straight to leaving a negative review without giving us a chance to fix the issue.
That's the thing: there was NO issue. But bich "Karen" saw an odd man asking cars to scoot up... & then she saw a handle like thing hanging down that looked like a Noose. It was so unsettling.
Bich, it's the handle to pull down the overhead doors.
My response was terse & not polite. I ain't about the Bull$hit of the Woke Left. 33 yrs of coaching brought me here!

I'm not wasting time or energy on google reviews. Her review itself will likely reveal she is being unreasonable. I don't get many one stars but it happens. Hasn't hurt business yet. keep the place running well and you'll get enough good reviews to keep you well in the 4s.

Responding to all reviews can help boost your business on Google searches and maps. It shows that you are active online, a world many people seem to live in. Also. it may help deter a few fake negative reviews because the person might see that you will be responding.
This. This reminds me have a few to reply to! Google reviews are important

I don’t even waste my time with the reviews and business has only gone up. I stopped replying to them a long time ago.

I cant tell you how many bad reviews ive got because of the Cryptopay pre auth charge or because someone is an idiot. 95% of them are customer error. Does google care? NOPE. Go and report it nothing happens. Google needs to give the business owner an option to turn reviews OFF or handle the reporting of them correctly.

Anyone who leaves a bad review without contacting the business first is a dumb**** who probably does door dash for a living and this is the only way to feel like they have some type of power. There is absolutely no reason why you should not contact the business first if you truly have an issue.

One of two things will happen.

1. She hates your place so much, she will never come back. That is good for you.

2. She will continue to spend money at your wash. That is good for you.

If she continues to use your wash and complain, I think a response from you that questions her motivation to patronize a business that she finds so offensive would be in line. Don’t forget - people who see these reviews see what you do and probably interpret them the same way as you do.

The people you want to attract to and retain at your wash can see comments like this for what it’s worth. It’s pretty transparent.

I got a call in the detail shop at 5:15 Friday afternoon. The caller immediately started talking about some negative yelp reviews He had read about our business. I thought it was spam and was getting ready to hang up but he kept talking and it turned out he wanted to make a detailing appointment for his car. He wound up making the appointment, which is tomorrow. So I guess the negative yelp reviews didn't really matter that much. I really didn't say too much of anything when he mentioned the negative yelp reviews because honestly I couldn't remember anything about them.
