well, I got it fixed a couple of days ago. Thanks for all your advice. It was the contactor relay, in it's own box (not sure what to call it). My installer called it, from 5 hours away. If you guys need a good, honest installer, for a WW High Velocity of LW 4000, I got your guy (provided you're in the Tx/Ok/La/Ark/NM area.

question: should that contactor go bad after 7---8 mos? I'd think not. What would make it go bad...?

Any competent installer of that machine should have no problem calling it from the other side of the world.

Why, Bad connections, bad ground, or the motor is over-amping for some reason. Hard starting pump maybe, one of the wires isn't getting good contact somewhere I would guess. Wire gauge is too small somewhere in the run. Bad wire, corrosion, ect.

Someone should check the leads at the motor and starter with an amp meter before its called fixed.
