Hey guys just checking what everyone uses for wands and guns in their bays?
I ask because I have 3 washes, 18 bays total, and it seems it never fails there is at least 1 or 2 bays everyday that have a broken wand or broken discharge fitting at the gun. I did notice they have stainless wands and thinking that would be more resistant. Usually, my guys in my shop cut new threads and fix the wands or tap out the broken discharge fitting and replace with a new one.
I have my Hp gun holders in the middle of the bay wall and grease my booms so they swing smoothly. A lot of times I see my customers just throw the gun down from the bed of the truck or before they are going to leave and that breaks the wand or the fitting. I tried break away fittings but then I was having more break because by design that fitting is designed to break at least without the breakaway fitting the setup is a little more resistant. Thought about going to the rubber flex wand.
