Last Thursday two A-holes decided it would a good idea to steal my Goldline during our busy season. I have two spare Wash Selects but decided to stick with the Goldline as I think the cabinet/door is a lot beefier and harder to damage. This ACW is in a tough neighborhood and hidden from the street. The 2007 Goldline I purchased is being shipped and I’m trying to figure a few things out beforehand. The validator has been scavenged but I didn’t think it was a big deal because I have a spare Mars on the shelf for my last one Goldline which came factory spec’d with a mars. After looking at it today I noticed it was 24v but I’m fairly certain all of hamiltons validators are 120v ( been over a decade since I’ve had my hands on one). Can someone tell me exactly which Mars validator I need for this unit without me knowing exactly which Hamilton Validator was in it? I see there are studs on the door already….either for the mars or an adapter bracket. I know I’ll need a harness extension and adapter. I’ll need to remove the stacker and plug the bypass plug into the stacker harness. My stolen Goldline had an up stacker but the conversion kit listed at Kleen-Rite is a downstacker so I’m a little confused.

FWIW, I've had to make repairs after that happening. I used a Hamilton base bolted down with 3/4" wedge anchors with a 5th one in the center sticking up 6" and a nut on top, mixed 10 bags of concrete inside. The one before had maybe five bags in it, only bolted down with 1/4" lag bolts and sleeves, they got it pulled over easily but couldn't get it in their truck.

The Goldline ACW uses a 24 volt Mars AE2602U5 validator. Installing it into the Goldine ACW is easy, finding a validator is the hard part.

Thanks MEP.

Randy, thank you. That’s what’s on my shelf as a spare. Sounds like I just need the harness and mounting bracket from Hamilton.

As a sidenote, this Goldline has the keypad. I’ve never had a Hamilton with a keypad before. I looked through my old Goldline manual and have gone to Hamiltons document library and I can’t find a thing regarding how to use or load codes? Does the keypad work anything like the WashSelects or do you need the DAN unit to use it?

I missed that it's a factory Mars. I didn't know they use a 24V model. I don't think I've ever even seen a factory Goldline with a Mars. I did recently buy a 24V Mars off eBay, pretty sure it was an AE2602, but they aren't common like they were a couple years ago.
