Good point Our Town!Even if you only took 1s and 5s the hopper would be empty if only 20 percent of the bills were 5s. Add 10s in there and it would be empty way before the stacker is full.
Those of us who went &/or who plan to to give out almost all $1 coins from our changers would fare better when it comes to your specific concern about the hoppers not keeping up with the capacity of the note stackers. On our two Standard machines we have four hoppers. Each hopper has $2400 x four hoppers yields $9600 x two machines yields $19,200. Just trying to reason an overlooked consideration out loud a bit.
Also since the quantity of one dollar bills get to be such a space taking large volume ... it would be nice if enough of us could lobby for a Congressional Directive (US Constitution division of responsibility) making the $2 bill the smallest bill. Even the pro credit card - pro smart phone pay operators should be cheering for that type of arrangement IMHO.
